Virksomheden Thunderbike blev grundlagt under navnet Motorradschuppen i 1985 i Hamminkeln og specialiserede sig oprindeligt i sportsmotorcykler fra japanske producenter. I 1987 blev virksomheden kontraktforhandler for mærket Suzuki og har siden da været aktiv som tuner for dette mærke.
