Slaget ved Auerstädt stod over for den preussiske hær mod delen af den franske hær ledet af Louis Nicolas Davout den 14. oktober 1806, parallelt med Slaget ved Jena, som fandt sted på samme dato.
Den 14. oktober 1806 blev den preussiske hær, en reference i Europa i et halvt århundrede, besejret i to samtidige slag. Marskal Davout, der ledede den højre fløj af den franske hær, stod over for preusserne i Auerstädt, mens kejser Napoleon gjorde det i Jena.
