Ved Maria-mærkningerne i Marpingen handler det om beretninger fra de tre otteårige piger Katharina Hubertus, Susanna Leist og Margaretha Kunz, som påstod, at Jomfru Maria flere gange havde vist sig for dem i Härtel-skoven i den nuværende saarländske landsby Marpingen. Pigerne hævdede, at de havde haft den første åbenbaring den 3. juli 1876 og den sidste den 3. september 1877.
