Wessenstedt, midt i Lüneburger Heide, er en del af Natendorf med cirka 150 indbyggere, som igen tilhører Samtgemeinde Bevensen-Ebstorf i Uelzen kommune, Niedersachsen.
Wessenstedt blev kendt gennem en urnekirkegård, der blev opdaget nær landsbyen. De fundne beholdere hjalp arkæologer med at datere en af de fire faser af jernalderen geografisk til Nord-Hannover, den såkaldte "fase fra Wessenstedt".
