Brake er hovedbyen i Kreis Wesermarsch i Niedersachsen. Byen tilhører Oldenburger Land og har siden 2005 været en del af den europæiske metropolregion Nordvest.
Brake ligger i centrum af byområdet mellem Bremerhaven, Bremen, Oldenburg og Wilhelmshaven direkte ved den vestlige kyst af den dybe Underweser. I nord grænser Brake op til kommunen Stadland, i syd til byen Elsfleth og i vest til kommunen Ovelgönne. Byen er omgivet af flad marskland, der for det meste anvendes som græsningsland.
