Aars er en by og tidligere kommune i Danmark. Siden 2007 er stedet en del af kommunen Vesthimmerland i regionen Nordjylland. Stedet ligger i den navngivne sogn. Bogstavet å udtales på dansk som en oo-lyd. Arealet af kommunen Aars var 222,76 km². Den tidligere kommune havde 13.284 indbyggere, heraf 6629 mænd og 6655 kvinder. Aars har siden 2007 været en del af den nyoprettede kommune Vesthimmerland.
