Bacares er en spansk kommune i provinsen Almería i regionen Andalusien, beliggende i Almeríadalens område og 73 km fra provinsens hovedstad Almería. Indbyggertallet i 2021 er 250 indbyggere. Termen "Bacares" synes at stamme fra det arabiske ord for ko, 'vaquería' - sted hvor kvæg opbevares eller kvarter med hytter og hyrder. Termen stammer desuden fra den samme rod som det latinske vacca. Den transhumante husdyrhold har været en aktivitet af stor betydning i Bacares i middelalderen i al-Ándalus og frem til det 18. århundrede, hvilket ville bekræfte denne hypotese.
