Potes er en kommune i Spanien, der tilhører den autonome region Cantabria. Det ligger i centrum af Liébana-regionen, som det er hovedby i. Denne kommune grænser mod nord til Cillorigo de Liébana, mod vest til Camaleño, mod syd til Vega de Liébana og mod øst til Cabezón de Liébana.[2]
