Elgueta[1] er en kommune i provinsen Guipúzcoa i det baskiske land, Spanien. Det tilhører distriktet Alto Deva. Det har en befolkning på 1131 indbyggere ifølge folketællingen fra 2017 og et areal på 16,83 km². Dens befolkningstæthed er 67,20 indb./km². Det er beliggende på en lidt beskyttet høj, strategisk placeret på grænsen mellem Guipúzcoa og Biscay. Fra de tidligste tidspunkter i samfundets historie har dets økonomi været overvejende landbrugsbaseret. Oprettelsen af industrielle områder i de senere år af det 20. århundrede har ført til etableringen af et betydeligt antal virksomheder.
