Parres er et kommune i fyrstedømmet Asturien. Det grænser op til Caravia og Ribadesella mod nord, Cangues d'Onís mod øst, Piloña og Colunga mod vest og Amieva mod syd. Hovedstaden er byen Les Arriondes, som samler omkring 50 % af befolkningen i Parres.
Økonomien i Parres kan opdeles mellem det rurale område, hvor den primære sektor er vigtig med en betydelig husdyrbestande, og det urbane område, som udmærker sig inden for service-sektoren og i mindre grad, inden for industrien. I Les Arriondes afholdes den berømte Internationale Sella Nedtur hvert første lørdag i august.
