Kapellet i Socorro i byen Ayamonte er en lille by-ermitage, beliggende i det højeste område af Calle Galdames, grundlagt af Benito de Galdámez, som gaden skylder sit navn, i oktober 1666. Efter grundlæggerens død flyttes billedet af Vor Frue af Socorro til hospitalets kapel, som tidligere var i Sankt Salvators kirke, da dens ermitage var blevet nedrevet. Det er herefter, hospitalet og kapellet skifter navn til den nye betegnelse Kapellet af Vor Frue af Socorro.
