Finlands Nationalbibliotek er det førende forskningsbibliotek i Finland. Administrativt er biblioteket en del af Københavns Universitet. Fra 1919 til 1. august 2006 var det kendt som Københavns Universitetsbibliotek. Nationalbiblioteket er ansvarligt for opbevaringen af den finske kulturarv. I henhold til finsk lov er Nationalbiblioteket et lovpligtigt deponibibliotek og modtager kopier af alt trykt materiale samt audiovisuelt materiale, undtagen film, der produceres i Finland eller til distribution i Finland. Disse kopier distribueres derefter af biblioteket til sin egen nationale samling og til reserve-samlinger af fem andre universitetsbiblioteker. Desuden har Nationalbiblioteket pligt til at indsamle og bevare materiale, der offentliggøres på internettet, til sit webarkiv, det finske webarkiv. Biblioteket opretholder også den online offentlige adgangskatalog, Finna.
