Turckheim, som ligger ved foden af den berømte vinmark Brand, har bevaret sin middelalderlige karakter med sine tre porte og betydelige rester af bymuren. Deltag i nattevægterens rundgang, der til lejligheden er klædt i historiske kostumer og bærer trekantshat, halberd, horn og lanterne. Du kan møde ham fra 1. maj til 31. oktober kl. 22 på brostenene, samt i advents- og juletiden fra 1. til 23. og fra 26. til 30. december kl. 21 og den 31. december til nytårshilsner. Mødestedet er Corps de Garde.
