Chanteix er en fransk kommune beliggende i departementet Corrèze i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Dens indbyggere kaldes Chanteixois og Chanteixoises. Kommune i Massif central, hvis territorium skråner blidt mod sydvest, har en gennemsnitlig højde på 380 m, med det højeste punkt Puy du Baspeyrat, der når op på 449 m, og det laveste punkt, møllen ved Juge, på 350 m. Arealet af Chanteix er 1947 hektar med en minimumshøjde på 312 meter og en maksimumshøjde på 451 meter.
