Talais er en fransk kommune med 764 indbyggere i departementet Gironde i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Talais ligger nord for Médoc-halvøen mellem Atlanterhavet og Gironde-mundingen af floderne Garonne og Dordogne. Afstanden til den sydøstligt beliggende Bordeaux er knap 90 kilometer. Strande ved Atlanterhavet ligger cirka fem kilometer væk, mens det til bredden af Gironde er omtrent tre kilometer. Kommunens område tilhører den regionale naturpark Médoc.
