Kirken Saint Sixte i Lamothe-Fénelon er blevet klassificeret som et historisk monument siden 1913. Under Ancien Régime blev den kaldt Saint-Sixte de la Mothe Massaut i henvisning til ridderne af Massaut og Salignac. Kirken blev delvist ødelagt under Hundredårskrigen, da englænderne erobrede landsbyen i 1367. Den er siden blevet genopbygget og bevarer en del af den gamle romanske kirke.
