Fontanès er en fransk kommune med 685 indbyggere i departementet Gard i regionen Okzitanien. Kommunen hører til arrondissementet Nîmes og kantonen Calvisson. Indbyggerne kaldes Fontanois. Fontanès ligger cirka 21 kilometer vest for Nîmes og cirka 29 kilometer nord-nordøst for Montpellier. I nordvest afgrænser Vidourle kommunen. Fontanès er omgivet af nabokommunerne Vic-le-Fesq mod nord og nordvest, Combas mod nord og nordøst, Souvignargues mod øst og sydøst, Villevieille mod syd, Salinelles mod sydvest samt Lecques mod vest.
