Tresses er en fransk kommune med 4.895 indbyggere i departementet Gironde i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Den tilhører kantonen Créon i arrondissementet Bordeaux. Kommunen Tresses ligger i oplandet til storbyen Bordeaux. Stedet ligger på en 70 til 80 meter høj plateau øst for udløbene af byen Bordeaux. I nord begrænses kommunen af landevej 89, i syd af RD 936. På denne sydlige forbindelsesvej mellem Bordeaux og dens bagland ligger et vigtigt erhvervsområde for kommunen. Cirka halvdelen af kommunens areal anvendes landbrugs, heraf cirka en tredjedel til vinproduktion. Det ligger inden for regionen Entre-Deux-Mers. Kommunens område krydses af bækken Gua, som her er kendt under navnet Desclaux.
