Longueval ligger 38 km nordvest for Amiens på D919 vejen, ved krydset med D8. Longueval findes i den nordøstlige del af departementet, næsten ligeligt distanceret til de omkringliggende byer Péronne, Albert og Bapaume. Caterpillar Valley Cemetery ligger uden for Longueval, på vejen til Bazentin. Kirkegården indeholder også et mindesmærke for de savnede fra New Zealand, som registrerer navnene på 1272 mænd, der gik tabt i 1916. Liget til New Zealand's Grav for den Unknown Warrior blev hentet herfra.
