Retournac er en kommune i det franske departement Haute-Loire og har 2535 indbyggere. Stedet er en del af arrondissementet Yssingeaux og ligger ved Loire i Pays du Sucs. Nær Retournac blev der fundet spor af bosættelse, der daterer sig tilbage til forhistorien; genstande fra 15.000 til 18.000 år gamle blev fundet i Cottier-grotten i den østlige del af kommunen Retournac. I landsbyen står en romansk kirke fra det 12. århundrede samt et middelalderligt slot og nogle befæstede huse.
