Vi drejer til højre ad hovedvejen, væk fra Saint-Estève. Vi følger vejen i cirka 300 meter og drejer derefter skarpt til venstre. 300 meter længere fremme drejer vi igen skævt til venstre og følger asfaltvejen mellem vinmarkerne. Vejen stiger let og falder igen. Foran os i det fjerne ligger Mont Ventoux. Ved den 3. vej, Chemin du Clos de Gache, drejer vi til højre. Denne vej drejer langsomt til venstre og stiger. Til sidst drejer vi til højre op til Gorges de la Nesque.
