Gimont er en kommune i den franske afdeling Gers. Kommunen havde 3.016 indbyggere den 1. januar 2019. Stedet er en del af arrondissementet Auch. Øverst på bakken, hvor Gimont ligger, står Notre Dame kirken med sit høje tårn. Landsbyen ligger ved floden Gimone og er omgivet af søer. Vejene N124 og D12 krydser i landsbyen. Vejene i landsbyen Gimont er let kuperede. Et overdækket åbent marked, due- og tårne samt bindingsværkshuse pryder landsbyen. Gimont er kendt for sin Marché au gras. Der er et gæs- og andemuseum. Ved Gimont er der en motocrossbane. Landsbyen har mange faciliteter, herunder et hospital. I bydelen Cahuzac ligger togstationen Gimont-Cahuzac. Gimont er det franske centrum for cistercienserklostre: Abbaye de Planselve.
