Escobecques er en fransk kommune beliggende i departementet Nord, i regionen Hauts-de-France. Den er en del af den europæiske metropol Lille. Klimaet, der kendetegner kommunen, blev i 2010 kvalificeret som et "degraderet oceanklima i slettene i Center og Nord", ifølge typen af klimaer i Frankrig, som dengang havde otte store typer klimaer i metropolen. I 2020 fremstår kommunen som typen "ændret oceanklima" i klassificeringen etableret af Météo-France, som nu kun har fem store typer klimaer i metropolen ved første tilgang. Det er et overgangsområde mellem oceanklimaet, bjergklimaet og det semi-kontinentale klima. Temperaturforskellene mellem vinter og sommer stiger med afstand fra havet. Nedbøren er lavere end ved kysten, undtagen i nærheden af højderne.
