Saint-Max er en fransk kommune med 10.019 indbyggere i departementet Meurthe-et-Moselle i regionen Grand Est. Byen har et areal på 184 hektar. Saint-Max ligger på den østlige, tilstødende bred af Meurthe overfor Nancy. Byen strækker sig op til de sydvendte skråninger af Plateau de Sainte-Geneviève og Plateau de Malzéville i en højde mellem 193 m og 342 m. Gennem to broer er stedet forbundet med Nancy. Yderligere omkringliggende kommuner er Malzéville, Dommartemont, Essey-lès-Nancy og Tomblaine.
