Barles er en kommune i Alpes-de-Haute-Provence afdelingen i Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regionen i det sydøstlige Frankrig.
Byen ligger i en højde af 987 m i Bès dalen ca. 30 km nord-nordøst for Digne-les-Bains og 30 km syd-sydøst for Gap. Adgangen til kommunen er via D900A vejen fra Verdaches i øst, som passerer gennem byen og fortsætter syd til Esclangon. D7 vejen kommer også fra Auzet i nordøst og møder D900A ved den østlige grænse af kommunen.
