Broekburgvandet er en cirka 20 km lang kanal, opkaldt efter byen Broekburg. Det blev gravet mellem 1675 og 1685, hvor en stor del af bunden fulgte afvandingskanalen Vliet. Broekburgvandet forbinder Aa på vestsiden af byen Broekburg med de indre havne i Dunkirk. Det løber gennem Kraaiwijk og den sydlige del af Groot-Sinten og videre mellem landsbyerne Klein-Sinten og Kapelle og ender i forbindelseskanalen i de indre havne i Dunkirk, hvor kanalen mødes med Havendijk, Kanalen Nieuwpoort-Dunkirk og Moerenvaart.
