Nationalparken er et ekstraordinært naturområde. I Vallée d'Ossau udgør næsten 8000 ha kerneområdet i dette beskyttede område.
I juli og august tilbyder parkvagterne et program for opdagelse af parken (fauna, flora, græsningslandbrug) og mødesteder i terrænet til frie samtaler og direkte iagttagelse af rovfugle, marmoter, isarder.....
Frie besøg i nationalparkhuset i Laruns er mulige i åbningstiderne: Udstilling om fauna, flora, liv i højden, filmfremvisninger.
I sommermånederne er der et program med skiftende udstillinger og foredrag om emner: natur, kultur og kulturarv.
