Un vigneto segnato dalla Prima Guerra Mondiale.
Nel cuore dei vigneti di Porte Sud, aperto sulla pianura e affacciato sulla città di Cernay, il vigneto Cote 425 offre una vista mozzafiato sulla pianura alsaziana.
In questo vigneto unico, interamente distrutto durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale e poi ripiantato nel 1920, si trovano tracce del conflitto e dei combattimenti: monumenti, oratori, vecchi bunker?
Il suolo e l'esposizione offrono una produzione favorevole al Pinot Nero, compreso il famoso rosso di Steinbach, e tutti i vitigni alsaziani si trovano qui.
È stato creato un sentiero del vino per facilitare le passeggiate, soprattutto con la famiglia.
