Det er en fantastisk bygning bygget i 1665 som privatbolig for Sir John Denham. I palladiansk stil blev den senere solgt til jarlen af Burlington, som den fik sit navn efter.
Nu huser den Royal Academy of Arts og er hjemsted for forskellige kulturelle stiftelser, såsom den Geologiske Fond, den Astronomiske og Antikviteternes.
