De kvadratiske symmetrisk tårne i Mistley Towers er i den neoklassiske stil, der ligner høje pavilloner snarere end tårne. Designet af tårnene skaber indtrykket af, at bygningen engang var mere en mini-katedral end en sognekirke. Dog var hoveddelen af kirken lille og besatte (nu tomt) stedet mellem de to tårne. Det var en etage bygning med et enkelt skråtag og en indgangsparti i centrum. Denne del af Adams kirke blev nedrevet i 1870, da den nye sognekirke i New Road blev bygget. De resterende tårne er fredede som Grade I og et planlagt monument.
