Scone Abbey var et hus af augustinerkanoner beliggende i Scone, Perthshire, Skotland. Datoerne for etableringen af Scone Priory har varieret fra 1114 e.Kr. til 1122 e.Kr. Historikere har dog længe troet, at Scone før den tid var centrum for den tidlige middelalderlige kristne kult af Culdees. Meget lidt er kendt om Culdees, men det antages, at en kult muligvis har haft tilbedelse i Scone så tidligt som i 700 e.Kr. Arkæologiske undersøgelser foretaget i 2007 tyder på, at Scone var et sted af reel betydning allerede før 841 e.Kr., da Kenneth MacAlpin bragte Skæbnesstenen, Skotlands mest skattede relikvie og krone-sten, til Scone.
