Methana er en by og en tidligere kommune på Peloponnes-halvøen i Grækenland. Siden reformen af lokalregeringen i 2011 er den en del af kommunen Troizinia-Methana, som den er en kommunal enhed i. Den kommunale enhed har et areal på 50,161 km2.
Methana ligger på en vulkansk halvø, der er tilkoblet Peloponnes. Administrativt tilhører den Attika-regionen. Byen ligger nord for vejen, der forbinder til resten af Peloponnes og Galatas. Det højeste punkt er 740 meter. Den kommunale enhed har et landareal på 50,161 kvadratkilometer og en befolkning på 1.657 indbyggere ved folketællingen i 2011. De største bosættelser udover byen Methana er Vathý, Megalochóri, Kounoupítsa, Kypséli, Ágioi Theódoroi og Dritsaíika
