De Olympiske Sommerlege 1896, officielt kendt som I. Olympiske Leges spil og almindeligt kendt som Athen 1896, var de første internationale Olympiske Lege, der blev afholdt i modern historie. Arrangeret af Den Internationale Olympiske Komité, som var blevet oprettet af den franske aristokrat Pierre de Coubertin, blev det afholdt i Athen, Grækenland, fra 6. til 15. april 1896.
