Mitchelstown er en by i County Cork, Irland med en befolkning på cirka 3.740. Mitchelstown ligger i dalen syd for Galtee-bjergene, 12 km sydvest for Mitchelstown-hulerne, 28 km fra Cahir, 50 km fra Cork, 59 km fra Limerick og 10 km fra Fermoy. Floden Gradoge løber forbi byen ind i floden Funshion, som igen er en biflod til floden Blackwater.
Byen er bedst kendt som et center for ostproduktion. Mitchelstown er inden for Cork East Dáil-valgdistriktet.
