Mitchelstown est une ville du comté de Cork, en Irlande, avec une population d'environ 3 740 habitants. Mitchelstown est située dans la vallée au sud des montagnes Galtee, à 12 km au sud-ouest des grottes de Mitchelstown, à 28 km de Cahir, à 50 km de Cork, à 59 km de Limerick et à 10 km de Fermoy. La rivière Gradoge traverse la ville pour se jeter dans la rivière Funshion, qui est à son tour un tributaire de la rivière Blackwater.
La ville est surtout connue comme un centre de production de fromage. Mitchelstown fait partie de la circonscription de Cork East Dáil.
