Pomarico er en lille by med 4500 indbyggere i det sydlige Italien, i regionen Basilicata. Den ligger cirka 30 kilometer fra Matera, hovedstaden i den provins, som Pomarico tilhører.
Byen blev grundlagt omkring 850 e.Kr. af byzantinerne. Et gammelt slot blev bygget, men kun få ruiner af det er tilbage.
