Toce, eller mere præcist "la" Toce, er den vigtigste flod i Val d'Ossola og løber fra nord til syd. Den store vandløbssamling, bortset fra to små dele i det schweiziske territorium og i Provinsen Novara, er indeholdt i Provinsen Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.
Toce blev i tidligere tider kaldt Tuxa, og dens etymologi kan stamme fra floden Athesis, nævnt af Plutark i hans krigsfortællinger om barbarerne. Dens oprindelse ville derfor være forklaret således: Athosone - Athos - La Tos og endelig La Toce.
