Ghisallo-bakken er en vejpas, der forbinder Valassina med den øverste del af Larian-triangelet. Pass-punktet, i en højde af 754 m over havets overflade, er en del af kommunen Magreglio. Et par meter fra passet står der en lille kirke: helligdommen Madonna del Ghisallo. Dets navn stammer fra en viss Ghisallo, der i middelalderen på det sted blev angrebet af banditter og afgav et løfte til Madonnaen om at bygge en kirke til hans ære, hvis han slap væk.
