Det mest besøgte i Palazzo della Cancelleria er Arco della Cancelleria.
Buen af Kanzlei er porten, der åbnede sig på den nordlige side af den første mur i San Gimignano og stammer fra det 10.-11. århundrede. Dengang eksisterede nabolaget bag porten endnu ikke, og herfra gik vejen ud til det åbne land mod Pisa og var en del af Via Francigena.
