Templet blev bygget i 1643 af præsten Francesco Galasso under titlen "Sankt Isidoro".
Den 18. maj 1667 blev det tildelt bageres kollegium af kanonik Girolamo Pavano, og siden da er stedet for tilbedelse blevet kaldt Sankt Isidoro dei Fornai-kirken.
Bygningen har en enkel facade pudset mod øst.
