Triesen er den tredjestørste af Liechtensteins kommuner. Den indeholder flere historiske kirker fra det femtende århundrede. Den har også en væveri fra 1863, som betragtes som et historisk monument. Befolkningen er omkring 5.000.
Kommunen inkluderer det højeste punkt i Liechtenstein, Grauspitz, som ligger 2.599 meter over havets overflade. Det ligger mellem Vaduz, Triesenberg og Balzers.
