Bygget af P.J. van Genk efter design af den Ghentiske arkitekt Bruggenaar.
På pladsen foran Lambertuskirken stod der fra 1790 til omkring 1877 en stenlagerkirke.
Lagerkirken havde ingen tårn, men havde et orgel.
Lagerkirkevejen nær kirken er et varigt minde om denne lagerkirke.
