Buren ) er en kommune i den hollandske provins Gelderland. Kommunen har 27.225 indbyggere og et areal på 142,93 km². Den ligesom navngivne fæstningsby Buren har historiske bånd til Huis van Oranje. Kommunen Buren i sin nuværende form er opstået ud fra den tidligere kommune Buren, som den eksisterede i det nittende århundrede. Indtil 1978 bestod kommunen Buren af selve byen og landsbyerne Asch og Erichem. Den 1. januar 1978 blev kommunerne Beusichem, Zoelen og en del af Buurmalsen tilføjet kommunen. Den 1. januar 1999 blev Buren udvidet med kommunerne Lienden og Maurik. Siden 1999 ligger rådhuset ikke længere i Buren, men i Maurik.
