hvor ruten gør en let bøjning, fremstår den klodsede skikkelse af IJsselcentrale, også kendt som Centrale Harculo, meget tæt på. Tidligere lå centralen i byen, men efter Anden Verdenskrig blev den flyttet hertil. IJsselcentrale har siden 1914 forsynet Zwolle og omegn med strøm. Centralen havde oprindeligt fem skorstene. I 2005 blev centralen renoveret, så den kan fortsætte i en periode.
