Siden efteråret 2006 har boghandlen Selexyz Dominicanen haft til huse i den århundrede gamle Dominicanerkirke i Maastricht. For to hundrede år siden mistede kirken sin sakrale funktion, og den har siden da i mange år fungeret som blandt andet slangehus, cykelparkering og karnevalsstempel.
Arkitektfirmaet Merkx + Girod designede det særlige interiør hos Selexyz Dominicanen. Designet vandt i 2007 Lensvelt Architect Interior Prize, den mest anerkendte pris på dette område i Nederlandene.
