Dal'autunno del 2006 la libreria selexyz dominicanen è situata nell'antica Chiesa dei Domenicani a Maastricht. Duecento anni fa la chiesa ha perso la sua funzione sacra e da allora ha servito per molti anni come casa dei serpenti, deposito biciclette e tempio del carnevale.
Lo studio di architettura Merkx + Girod ha progettato l'interno speciale di selexyz dominicanen. Il progetto ha vinto nel 2007 il premio Lensvelt Architect interior, il premio più prestigioso in questo campo nei Paesi Bassi.
