Hattem ) er en by og kommune i den hollandske provins Gelderland. Kommunen ligger på grænsen til Overijssel og ved den nordlige kant af Veluwe. Den har 12.304 indbyggere og har et areal på 24,28 km². Inden for kommunegrænserne ligger den lille landsby 't Zand. Navnet "Hattem" er et typisk stednavn. Hvad dette navn betyder, er uklart. Der er groft sagt to antagelser. Hattem kunne være stedet for folk, der tidligere tilhørte stammen af Chattuarii, eller stedet for folk hvis leder hed Hatto. Den sidste antagelse er baseret på det forhold, at mere end halvdelen af stednavnene er afledt af et personnavn.
