Wapse er en landsby i den hollandske provins Drenthe. Den er en del af kommunen Westerveld og ligger cirka 21 km nordvest for Hoogeveen. Landsbyen blev først nævnt i 1384 som "Johanni de Wapse". Etymologien er ukendt. Wapse er en cirkulær esdorp fra den tidlige middelalder. Der plejede at være fem landsbyer omkring den centrale fælles græsgang.
