Wachtum er en landsby i kommunen Coevorden i den hollandske provins Drenthe. Indtil kommunesammenlægningen i 1998 tilhørte det den tidligere kommune Dalen.
Wachtum er en gammel eslandsby. Den først kendte omtale af navnet 'Wachtum', dengang 'Wachtmen', stammer fra 1399, da Etstolen afsagde dom om salget af en gård.
