Nij Beets er en landsby i kommunen Opsterland i den nederlandske provins Friesland. Den ligger cirka 12 kilometer sydvest for Drachten. Landsbyen havde i 2021 1.670 indbyggere. Gennem landsbyen løber Polderhoofdkanaal. Nij Beets blev grundlagt i 1863 af mosearbejdere. Disse kom omkring 1860 til Nij Beets for at gravet mosen op fra mosebaronerne og lave brunkul. Officielt var disse mennesker flyttet til Beets.
